Police officers from Bolesławiec, while conducting operational activities, identified a man who had committed robbery theft. KPP: – The perpetrator was hiding, but detectives tracked him down and arrested him.

The 40-year-old stole sports clothing worth more than PLN 450. When the shop staff realized that the man was taking the goods out of the premises, one of the women attempted to recover them. Seeing the employee's reaction, the perpetrator struck her twice and threatened to take her life in order to keep the stolen clothing.

After his arrest in connection with the robbery theft, the 40-year-old was also charged with other offences. The first concerned the theft of batteries worth more than PLN 650. The second charge was related to possession of narcotic substances.
At the request of the police and the prosecutor's office, the suspect was remanded in custody for two months. The resident of our county had previously been in conflict with the law and had been detained in connection with thefts. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
