Bolesławiec City Hall: – The aim of the revitalization is to organize the park space so that it harmonizes compositionally with the surroundings of Pückler Palace, which is being adapted as the new home of the Museum of Ceramics.

The park requires the construction of paths and walkways, as well as a relaxation and recreation zone for families with children. Small-scale architecture must be created, along with the installation of benches and play equipment for the youngest visitors. The total cost of revitalizing the municipal park on Zgorzelecka Street is PLN 5,400,000, including PLN 990,000 in own funds and PLN 4,410,000 in funding from the Polish Deal program.

Local government: – A number of works have already been completed, including the foundations of the wooden footbridge, the fountain’s pump-room and water-tank structure, reinforcement of the fountain basin, the foundations and reinforcement of the retaining wall, the reinforced-concrete southern fence, the power connection and lamp power supply, the water connection, and the sewer connection. The soil in the park has been replaced. Preparatory work for planting is underway. Work on the sidewalks with mineral-resin and mineral surfaces is nearing completion.

What else will be done?

A number of works still remain to be completed: a trellis, the structure of the wooden footbridge, the reinforced-concrete slab of the fountain basin and the fountain technology, a bench by the café, a playground (maze, sandbox, trampolines, and an obstacle course), wooden platforms, the facade of the southern fence, the western fence, and small-scale architecture. The city authorities add: – To ensure safety, LED lighting will be installed in park fixtures. New plantings are also essential.
