Janina Walenciejczyk celebrated her beautiful jubilee at the Nursing Home on Piastów Street in Bolesławiec.
The celebration, attended by friends and acquaintances as well as Nursing Home staff, took place on 16 May. Representatives of the municipal authorities took part in the ceremony: Deputy Mayor Renata Szewczyk and Mariola Soja, head of the Civil Registry Office department.
City Hall: – The distinguished jubilarian received a congratulatory letter from the Mayor of Bolesławiec, flowers and a blanket. The highlight of the celebration was an exceptional performance by the “Jutrzenka” Folk Song and Dance Ensemble, along with warm wishes and congratulations.
Mrs. Janina Walenciejczyk was born on 18 May 1920. She came to Bolesławiec in 1947. She raised six children and has a large group of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A family jubilee celebration is planned for 18 May. In the past, the jubilarian looked after children and ran the household. Mrs. Janina’s favorite occupation was tailoring. She has always enjoyed great sympathy among her friends and acquaintances. In 2020, her neighbors organized a surprise party for the centenarian.
