The incident occurred on Monday, May 15, in the afternoon. The body of a 55-year-old man was discovered in a block of flats on Jana Pawła II Street in Bolesławiec. Investigators’ findings indicate that a heavily alcohol-fueled party was taking place there, attended by four men, including the later victim.
According to the partygoers’ accounts, the 55-year-old fell down the stairs. However, due to the condition of the partygoers the previous day, they will only be formally questioned today.
As prosecutor Ewa Łomnicka, head of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, emphasizes, at this preliminary stage there is little to suggest the involvement of third parties, but this cannot be completely ruled out at this point. The ordered autopsy is expected to clarify all doubts.
