Training was held at the 23rd Artillery Regiment as part of the “Train with the Military: Spring–Summer” campaign. Fifty participants signed up, and at the training facilities of the garrison shooting range they learned how to handle weapons, engage in close-quarters combat, the basics of SERE, with an emphasis on survival skills, grenade throwing, the basics of first aid and tactics. In addition to the training topics, participants had the opportunity to see military equipment and sample military-cuisine specialties and soldiers’ pea soup. At the end, each participant received a certificate confirming completion of the full-day training.
