The incident occurred on Sunday, 8 August. At around 9:20 p.m., the police duty officer received a report that two perpetrators had attacked a 64-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. The suspects stole the victim’s wallet containing documents and money, as well as his mobile phone.
Soon afterward, police officers spotted men matching the description. When they saw the police patrol, the suspects began to flee. They were detained. The perpetrators turned out to be two residents of Bolesławiec, aged 21 and 26. Officers recovered the stolen property.
The detainees now face up to 12 years in prison.
