– The victim, who reported the matter to Police Station II in Jelenia Góra, listed a used dishwasher for sale on one of the internet portals and then received information that someone was interested in buying it – reports junior aspirant Paweł Noga from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – The customer wanted to have the goods collected by one of the courier companies. He informed the seller that she had to click the link sent to her in order to confirm the shipment. The woman followed the instructions, and the next day received information from the bank that her account had been blocked for security reasons.

The spokesperson adds: – When the Jelenia Góra resident managed to log in to her online banking, it turned out that more than PLN 10,000 was missing from her account and, to make matters worse, a loan had been taken out using her personal details.
