Bolesławiec police received a report of the citizen’s arrest of a drunk driver at a petrol station in Gromadka Municipality. KPP Bolesławiec: – Seeing the man’s condition, other drivers took his keys and notified the emergency services.
The Ukrainian national was completely drunk; a test showed more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his system.

After sobering up, the 38-year-old was charged with driving while intoxicated and brought before the District Court in Bolesławiec.
What sentence was handed down?
The driver lost his licence for 3 years and was also ordered to pay a fine and 5,000 złoty to the Fund for Assistance to Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance.
