The first-degree hydrological warning concerning the Kwisa river basin from the Leśna Reservoir to Nowogrodziec reads:
(…) Due to forecast intensive rainfall and the runoff of rainwater, further rises in water levels to the high-water zone are expected. On smaller rivers and in urbanized catchments, water levels may rise rapidly. In controlled catchments, in the event of particularly intensive rainfall, there is a possibility that warning levels—and, briefly, even alarm levels—will be exceeded (especially in Ostróżno on the Witka, in Świebodzice on the Pełcznica, and in Szalejów Dolny on the Bystrzyca Dusznicka).
