Laguna Seca 4 motorcycle suits represent a revolution in health protection, but not only that. The scope of the modifications introduced can be divided into three basic areas – safety, ergonomics, and ease of use.
Safety
The team of specialists at Dainese has a unique gift for combining captivating design with effective protective components. What does this mean in practice?
First of all, it is worth emphasizing that all technological solutions have the appropriate certificates confirming the highest quality of the protective technologies offered. These standards apply to the composite knee and shoulder protectors, as well as the elbows. The latter area is particularly exposed to serious danger, which is why the manufacturer installed additional protection in the form of aluminum elbow and shoulder sliders.
As a result, the entire motorcycle suit forms a genuine protective shell. For this purpose, reinforced D-Skin 2.0 cowhide was used, making the result extremely durable while also flexible and functional.
The Dainese team regularly tests its ideas in the demanding conditions of MotoGP competition, and this strategy guarantees the full effectiveness of the concepts implemented. The same was true of the D-Skin 2.0 material, when tests demonstrated excellent resistance to all kinds of mechanical abrasion. For this reason, the Laguna Seca 4 motorcycle suit has CE certification.
Ergonomics
Another extremely important area for motorcyclists is optimizing the ride. To achieve this, certain design solutions must be introduced as early as the clothing design stage. The extensive experience of Dainese experts made it possible to provide a range of options that maximize the ergonomics of every kilometer covered.
At this point, it is worth mentioning the aerodynamic hump, which protects a critical area of the motorcyclist while not compromising riding dynamics. However, this is only the beginning of the new features.
A specially designed system for fastening the suit to the inner boots integrates the entire outfit and eliminates the need for irritating adjustments. The inserts themselves deserve particular attention. The manufacturer placed flexible elements in the collar itself, as well as around the entire back. The Triaxal leather insert works with the motorcyclist’s movements, stretching in three directions. In addition, sections made of microelastic 2.0 material were installed, further increasing freedom of movement.
Comfort
The attributes described above will not provide complete satisfaction if the purchased suit model is simply uncomfortable. That is why the Laguna Seca 4 series also focuses on this aspect.
The complete outfit is lined with an unusual material layer using 3DBubble technology. The extremely pleasant lining completely eliminates discomfort and provides effective ventilation, even in the most demanding travel conditions.
To increase comfort during use, the suit also features another type of lining called Nanofeel. The lining is antibacterial, antifungal, breathable, and designed for quick removal for washing. The engineers also took care of the safety of valuable belongings by placing a spacious internal pocket.
