On Saturday evening, the TOP Bolesławiec volleyball players performed very poorly. The match lasted just over an hour. That was enough for the team from Głogów to defeat the Bolesławiec players. Despite the defeat, Mateusz Zajdel played a good match for TOP, standing out with effective serving and attacking.
TOP lost the individual sets 19–25, 20–25 and 17–25. The Bolesławiec players made many mistakes. They lost points because of a lack of cover in the middle of the court, poor ball reception and serving errors. The visitors from Głogów took full advantage of this and won the match without major problems.
Saturday’s match was the third played as part of the first playoff round. Unfortunately, the two previous matches, played in Głogów, were also lost by our team without winning a set. This means that the Bolesławiec players will compete for seventh place in the standings in the next round. The next match in Bolesławiec will be played on 19 March.
