The history of Bolesławiec sport is being written before our eyes. The volleyball players of BTS Willowa Bolesławiec have secured promotion to the II league, sealing their success before the final tournament has ended.
It was a weekend full of emotion and fierce competition. The road to promotion led through two extremely difficult five-set battles:
- On Friday, our team defeated MKS Czechowice-Dziedzice 3:2.
- On Saturday, after another dramatic match, the Bolesławiec players defeated Norwid Częstochowa, also by a score of 3:2.
Although the tournament is still ongoing, the BTS Willowa players can already celebrate their long-awaited promotion. It became clear who would advance after another tournament match was decided, in which the team from Czechowice-Dziedzice defeated the hosts, As Słubice, 3:1.
This result meant that, regardless of the outcome of Sunday’s match, the Bolesławiec team had already secured a place in the higher division, on the eagerly awaited II-league courts.
Congratulations to the president, the team, the coaching staff and the supporters on this historic achievement!
