Over the weekend of 23–25 July, the 16th Polish Youth Olympic Games were held in Zielona Góra. Bolesławiec was represented by seven athletes from MKS Bolesłavia. The greatest success was achieved by Agnieszka Dalmata, who won the Polish Championship in the discus throw. Agnieszka was unrivalled in the qualifying round, recording 37.45 m. In the final, the athlete from Bolesławiec threw the discus 45.49 m. The distance was Agnieszka’s personal best. Another Bolesłavia representative, Beata Dąbal, placed 20th with a result of 27.50 m.
In the javelin throw, after successful qualifications (33.50 m), Aneta Bujak competed in the final. The athlete threw the javelin 35.82 m and finished eighth. Agnieszka Dalmata also performed well in the shot put. She achieved 11.20 m in qualifying and 11.07 m in the final. This result earned her ninth place in the country. Beata Dąbal placed 14th with a result of 10.26 m. Aneta Bujak competed in the hammer throw (16th place with a result of 33.91 m), as did Agnieszka Bosek (14th place with a result of 34.80 m).
Three athletes represented Bolesłavia in the running events. After successful qualifications and setting a personal best (14.72 seconds) in the 110 m hurdles, Maciej Chojnacki advanced to the final. Ultimately, Ryszard Posacki’s pupil achieved a strong eighth-place finish. In the longer-distance events, Darek Marek’s pupil Anna Twardowska competed (18th place in the 5,000 m race walk with a time of 30:23.32), as did Paulina Olszowy (21st place in the 2,000 m steeplechase with a time of 8:29.35), coached by Małgorzata Markowska.

In total, MKS Bolesłavia athletes scored 28 points in the youth sports system, placing the club 28th in the country.
