The Pirat Student Sailing Club announced that it is resuming operations at a new location. As we read on the profile UKŻ Pirat Bolesławiec:
We can officially share the news with you: very good news.
WE HAVE A NEW BASE!!!
Do you recognize it?
Our Laser racing section (ILCA 4 and ILCA 6) will begin training on April 1 at the Berzdorfer See water body, known and loved by our competitors. The lake is located right by the border with Germany, near Goerlitz.
Our new racing base was also established there!
Our fellow sailors from Germany, seeing the situation our club found itself in, offered to cooperate. After the terms were presented, we managed to choose the best option, which resulted in signing an agreement and closer cooperation between us.
Our racers have access to full infrastructure on the shore, can safely leave their equipment, and use the changing rooms and sanitary facilities! We are pleased that we managed to find very good training conditions. Most importantly, our competitors will be able to continue their sailing journey, and the work they and their coaches have done so far will not have been in vain (...).
We reported on the situation the club found itself in and its dispute with the new owners of the Krępnica reservoir in the article: Loud dispute over containers in Krępnica. Prosecutor’s office decision. Court finale?
