On Friday, 10 March, the Village Head’s Day was ceremonially celebrated in Bolesławiec Municipality at the conference hall in Kruszyn. The local government: – It was a moving meeting with the village heads of our Municipality, filled with thanks, memories and plans for the future.

The artistic segment was provided by the INIEMAMOCNE ensemble, led by Marek Łętowski, which performed six songs.

Municipal authorities thanked the village heads for their daily community service, commitment and care; they emphasized that the activities of village leaders for the benefit of the local community are noticed and appreciated. The village heads were also honored with gifts and letters of congratulations.

Friday’s meeting was also an opportunity to present Olga Burdyna, village head of Żeliszów, with the Honorary Badge of Merit for Polish Culture, awarded to people distinguished for creating, disseminating and protecting culture.

Special thanks were also presented to Beata Kurowska, village head of Trzebień Mały, and Robert Galik, village head of Suszki, who resigned from their positions this year. It is worth noting that Beata held her position from 2019, while Robert held his from 2013.

Bolesławiec Municipality:

Twenty-three village heads from across our Municipality attended the meeting. We are pleased that, after the break caused by the pandemic, we were able to meet in person this year and spend this time together.
