In the evening, a 49-year-old man was arrested at one of the petrol stations in Bolesławiec County after getting into a verbal altercation with another driver. The resident of Wrocław had been driving on the motorway toward the border after drinking alcohol. A sobriety test showed more than 1 per mille.

Several hours later, in the Nowogrodziec municipality, a patrol stopped a 48-year-old man for inspection. The resident of Bolesławiec County got behind the wheel with 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.

Driving while intoxicated carries a penalty of up to 2 years in prison, a long-term loss of driving privileges and financial consequences.
