On March 3, more than 500 parents and guardians of preschool-aged children visited the new premises of Miejskie Przedszkole Publiczne nr 3 at 22 Narcyzów Street in Bolesławiec. The purpose of the visit to the new facility on the city’s preschool education map was to learn about its offerings and conditions firsthand. The people most interested of all—the children—often accompanied their parents.
On that day, employees of Bolesławiec City Hall guided groups of interested visitors around the facility and provided information to help them decide which kindergarten to choose. Displays presented visualizations of the planned appearance of the classrooms and other rooms, as furnishing the facility with furniture and the necessary equipment for educational activities, as well as various play accessories for preschoolers, is currently underway.
It is worth recalling that the new building at 22 Narcyzów Street will include six preschool groups, a meal distribution room, a small gym, a children’s cloakroom, a sensory room, and administrative and technical facilities. The building was designed to be energy-efficient and accessible to people with disabilities. Among other things, it is equipped with heat pumps, low-temperature underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, a photovoltaic installation, triple-glazed windows, and a rainwater tank. The grounds are fenced, illuminated, and monitored. There are parking spaces, pavements, and a utility yard. The property includes a playground with safe surfaces and a recreation area naturally shaded by existing trees. The kindergarten will employ teaching staff with many specializations: a special education teacher, psychologist, speech therapist, educational therapist, and rehabilitation specialist. The investment has so far cost more than PLN 6 million. The funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.
Electronic recruitment for municipal public kindergartens for the 2023/2024 school year is currently underway. Applications may be submitted from March 1, 2023, until March 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m..
