Bolesławiec police on the incident:
The driver of an Audi lost control of the vehicle on a bend in the road, as a result of which he crossed into the opposite lane and struck a truck travelling in the opposite direction and proceeding correctly. As a result of the incident, the passenger in the car was taken to the emergency department of SP ZOZ in Bolesławiec with a suspected head injury.
The incident occurred at around 12:00 in the village of Trzebień. Preliminary information indicates that an accident occurred there in which two people were injured. The “BOLESŁAWIEC” Specialist Technical Rescue Group was among those dispatched to the scene.
It is already known that the car collided with a truck. The passenger in the car was unconscious and trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters removed him from the car. The man was taken to hospital. Traffic on provincial road no. 297 was blocked in both directions.
Three Bolesławiec State Fire Service units, as well as OSP Trzebień, OSP Krzyżowa, a medical rescue team and the police were at the scene.
