The accident occurred on February 8, after 8:00 p.m., on national road no. 94 in Parzyce. According to the Bolesławiec police, a 19-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec Municipality, driving an Opel Corsa, failed to adjust his speed to the prevailing conditions on a bend and crossed into the opposite lane.
There, he collided with an oncoming Fiat Panda driven by a woman from Zgorzelec County.
The woman was injured and, with a suspected spinal injury, was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
The people involved in the accident were sober.
