The incident occurred on January 21, before 2:00 p.m., on the road between Ławszowa and Świętoszów.
Police determined that the driver of the Nissan, a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, improperly performed an evasive maneuver and collided with a Volkswagen traveling correctly, driven by a 45-year-old man from Bolesławiec County.
The passengers of both cars were injured in the collision. The 10- and 15-year-old girls were taken to a hospital in Legnica for observation.
The operation involved firefighters from Osiecznica, Ławszowa and Bolesławiec, as well as the police and an emergency medical team. Officers urge caution and prudence on the road.
