Last Friday, officers from the Traffic Division in Bolesławiec took part in the provincial operation “Safe A4 Motorway”. KPP Bolesławiec:
On the Bolesławiec section of the A4, officers carried out 26 vehicle checks.
They detected 23 offences. (These mainly concerned excessive speed.) The record-holder in this regard was a resident of Bolesławiec County, who was travelling at over 180 km/h. There was also a case involving a driver who was not wearing a seat belt while driving.
Furthermore, during the operation on the motorway, police detained a 41-year-old resident of Żagań County who got behind the wheel despite a court ban on driving all motor vehicles, which remains in force until 2025.
