Many of the items on display are significant not only historically but also personally. They were collected thanks to the efforts of veterans’ organisations and private individuals. The exhibits bear witness to the struggle of the Polish people for their homeland’s independence.

The exhibition includes, among other things, photographs of Alojzy Skorupa, a resident of Bolesławiec. Materials from the State Archives (the Lubań Branch) and the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra have also been used in the display. The exhibition can be viewed until the end of March at the museum’s branch on Kutuzowa Street.
