On June 26 and 27, the Osiecznica Commune Days were held. On Saturday at 4:00 p.m., the Commune Chess Tournament began. Mikołaj Ziętek won the competition, Ryszard Armata came second, and Czesław Krupa third. That day, the audience had the opportunity to see performances by the Drużyna Rycerska Syrokomla and dancers from Inna Show – Cheerleaders Turów Zgorzelec.
On Sunday, another edition of the Skate-marathon took place. A total of 265 people participated in the competition. Paweł Milewski won the main race. Heiko Klipstein came second, and Krzysztof Plich third. Among the women, Paulina Kowalik was the best. Laura Hündorf came second, and Yvonne Schönbach third.
In the 16 km race, Wojciech Baran was the first to reach the finish line. Jakub Ciesielski took second place, and Robert Chłodzik third. In the women's category, Ewa Kusz won. Patrycja Zdrojewska came second, and Maja Szocińska third.
In the race for the youngest participants, Radosław Jakubski proved to be the best. Alan Ciborowski came second, and Marcin Guzowski third. In the girls' category, Weronika Szocińska took first place, ahead of Izabela Żdan and Kaja Hytnar.
After the marathon, the bands Nad Kwisą, Kapela Herbutów, Nasza Biesiada, Rafineria, Mythos, Wędrowne Gitary and the cabaret Afera performed for the audience.
The event concluded with a fireworks display. The celebration was organized by the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu w Osiecznicy.
