Bolesławiec criminal investigators, as a result of operational activities, identified and detained three men suspected in a case involving a burglary at a house and the theft of property worth more than PLN 100,000. The criminals stole power tools, consumer electronics, cash and gold bars.

The two burglars, aged 32 and 40, were detained first. Both entered the building through a basement window. They knew that the homeowner would be away from the house for several days, so they surveyed the property and calmly prepared some of the loot to be taken.

The thieves made another “visit” to the victim’s house the following day. Police: – The burglars arrived with a cart, into which they loaded, among other things, a television and power tools.

Police found two stolen gold bars in the younger detainee’s pocket. At the older thief’s home, they secured nearly all the items originating from the burglary in question. (He had already connected the stolen television and was enjoying using it.)

Then officers detained a 43-year-old man who had given his colleagues information about the homeowner’s departure and the period of his absence from Poland. He also told them what valuable items the victim owned.

All three now face up to 10 years in prison.
