On St. Nicholas Day, The Bad Bunzlauer published a video showing an ambulance having a problem leaving the hospital.
We asked the hospital itself about the matter. As we have established, there are several exits, one intended exclusively for ambulances from Bolesławiec.
Previously—before December 6—ambulance drivers reported that problems with leaving sometimes occurred. It then became clear that the system was freezing. The fault was fixed, and ambulance drivers currently no longer encounter this type of difficulty.
The situation shown in TBB’s “St. Nicholas Day” video may have resulted from the driver not positioning the vehicle in the center of the barrier. The camera probably had trouble reading the license plate.
Nevertheless, it is good that readers of local media publicize such matters. Thanks to this, at least some of these problems will certainly be resolved.
