Police officers from the Polish-German NYSA group arrested a 32-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County who was wanted by the justice system because he had 4 years and 7 months of imprisonment to serve. The man was also suspected of possessing drugs.
– As a result of the actions taken, officers secured methamphetamine and marijuana from the man and in the living quarters he occupied, in an amount from which more than 150 retail doses of these drugs could be prepared – reports Inspector Agnieszka Goguł, press officer for the Commander of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec., press officer for the Commander of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec.
She adds:
During a search of the basement, police officers found a magazine, blank ammunition and a gas gun, for which, as it turned out, he did not have a permit.
The man is already behind bars. There, he will await the verdict in the case of the drugs and firearm. He could now face up to 8 years in prison.
