There will be plenty happening at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre-International Ceramics Centre throughout the summer holidays. The BOK-MCC programme will include:

  • The “World Through the Lens” exhibition, photographs by: Wiesław Gruszka, Grzegorz Matoryn and Krzysztof Łukasiewicz. Opening: 2 July at 6:00 p.m. at Galeria Długa. The exhibition will be open until 27 July
  • Acting studio in the Orzeł Animation Room – throughout the summer holidays: Wednesdays and Saturdays. Instructor: Sławomir Ratajski
  • Exhibition – set design from the film “Danny Boy” directed by Marek Skrobecki, a film addressing the problem of individual alienation while also being an ironic social satire. The exhibition will run until 29 August. It can be viewed in the foyer of Forum Cinema
  • Bolesławiec Tenement Houses, Part II – a continuation of the artistic activity begun during this year’s City Days. BOK-MCC instructors have prepared sketches of the tenement houses in the Market Square on a white canvas (10 m long); participants will colour in the sketches. 8–9 July, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Piłsudski Square
  • A Fairytale Adventure – art workshops for children. 14–15 July, 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Piłsudski Square
  • In a Summer Mood... – selected songs from the “Sung Poetry and More” programmes, performed by the Poeticon group. 23 July, 8:00 p.m., Market Square
  • Artistic Picnic! – an outdoor activity for children. The programme includes: plein-air painting, fun with a clown, juggling workshops, face painting, “The Clay Treasure Sandbox”, karaoke and preparing refreshments. 31 July, 11:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., the slope in the Market Square
  • In a Summer Mood... – an artistic programme performed by the Poeticon group. 7 August, 8:00 p.m., Market Square
  • Little People’s View of Wróbelek Ćwirek – art workshops for children and young people. 12–13 August, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., the square by Bankowa Street (behind the BOK-MCC building)
  • Sunny Ceramic Garden – ceramics workshops for children and young people. 6–7 August, 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Piłsudski Square
  • Summer Modern Dance Workshops. Instructor: Katarzyna Tomczyk-Jakubowska. 9–13 August, Orzeł Animation Room
  • Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival: 18–22 August. The programme will include, among other things, an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest ceramic plate, the longest table set with ceramic tableware, “Ceramic Garden” workshops, and concerts by stars. Performers will include: Patrycja Markowska, Shakin' Dudi and Perfect
  • Bolesławiec Tenement Houses, Part III – painting workshops. 30–31 August, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Piłsudski Square
  • 46th International Ceramics and Sculpture Open-Air Workshop. 1–31 August
  • Nocturne – an exhibition of ceramic works by Andrzej Łączyński, inspired by the works of Fryderyk Chopin. Opening: 27 August at 6:00 p.m., Galeria Długa

At Forum Cinema – the biggest film premieres of the summer!
