She explains:
During an alcohol-fueled argument between the detained man and the victim, the 53-year-old stabbed her more than a dozen times. The injuries caused a condition that posed a real threat to her life.
The 53-year-old attacker was taken into police custody. He was completely drunk; a test showed 3 per mille of alcohol in his system. The spokeswoman said:
The man was charged with attempted murder, for which he could face even life imprisonment.
On December 13, at the prosecution's request, the court remanded the suspect in custody for three months.
