On Friday, June 25, the sports field in Kruszyn will host the first edition of the Rock Meetings. “Together with Beata Widera from GOKiS, we thought that a rock concert should be organized. Not much happens in the Bolesławiec Rural Municipality in this regard, and I want to promote this kind of music,” says Leszek Krawczewski, one of the event's initiators.
The day's lineup will consist mainly of bands from Bolesławiec. “These are young, promising groups,” assures Leszek Krawczewski. Fans of rock in its broadest sense will not be bored. In addition to strictly rock bands, blues and progressive metal groups will also perform.
Here is the list of bands that will play at the first Rock Meetings:
- Kupa Złomu from Bolesławiec
- Młody Krawiec Band from Bolesławiec
- Guardian of Death from Węgliniec
- Random from Bolesławiec
- Engines of Creation from Bolesławiec
The evening's headliner will be Plamka from Szprotawa. Moreover, during the concert, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite band. The group receiving the most votes will win the audience award.
The event starts at 5:00 p.m. Admission is free. The organizer is the Municipal Culture and Sport Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
