– You do not need to download any app or register an account. Buying a ticket from the truly extensive offer available through the new KD store is now easy and quick. As of today, we are providing passengers with another ticket sales channel, without the need to stand in queues, conveniently and comfortably – explains Bartłomiej Rodak, press spokesperson for Koleje Dolnośląskie.

One website, many tickets

The purchasing process is simple and intuitive. The store’s extensive offer also includes international and connecting routes, as well as Polregio services (on sections shared with KD), and the WBS – Common Local Government Ticket. In addition, the store has been integrated with the portalpasazera.pl service. Travellers using this website will be able to purchase tickets for the connections they search for in the new KD store.

– We are aware that buying a ticket online is an extremely popular option and that our passengers are happy to use it. In October, Koleje Dolnośląskie obtained as much as 44 percent of its revenue from online sales. The internet has become our most important channel, surpassing sales at ticket offices and on board trains. However, some people are discouraged by the need to install an app and log in. The KD store is an answer to the needs of travellers who want the ticket-buying procedure to be as simple as possible – says Bartosz Jungiewicz, Director for Sales at Koleje Dolnośląskie.
