On Saturday morning, the market square in Bolesławiec was visited by Piotr Borys, Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Zofia Czernow, Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, as well as activists and supporters of the local Civic Platform structures: Przemysław Godek, Karol Stasik, Cezariusz Rudyk and Artur Kuczyński.
The politicians were collecting signatures for a citizens’ bill on funding in vitro fertilisation. As Piotr Borys said, in vitro fertilisation could help nearly 1.5 million couples in Poland who are struggling with infertility. It is also one way to combat the demographic crisis.
