The incident occurred on 24 November on the A4 motorway, at the Czerna MOP. Inspectors from the Lower Silesian Road Transport Inspection stopped a Lithuanian truck for inspection. (It was carrying courier parcels from Germany to Lithuania.)
Voivodeship Road Transport Inspectorate in Wrocław:
During the inspection, the inspectors detected the smell of alcohol. A breathalyser test confirmed that the man was intoxicated.
It turned out that the Lithuanian man had 0.34 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air. Police officers from Bolesławiec were called to the scene and are conducting further proceedings in the case.
