From 7 to 10 November 2022, work was carried out to prepare the ground in the areas where flowering meadows will be established. The areas cover a total of 2.3 hectares and will be created at the following locations:
- Głowackiego Street – town promenades,
- the boulevard along the Bóbr,
- the area near Murarska Street,
- Tysiąclecia Avenue,
- Gałczyńskiego Street,
- Jana Pawła II Street.
The contractor is Państwo Łąka Sp. z o.o. The contract value is PLN 159,268.68.
On 9 November 2022, an information workshop on establishing and maintaining flowering meadows was held at BOK-MCC. Grzegorz Walkiewicz, a representative of Państwo Łąka Sp. z o.o., gave a presentation entitled “How we will establish flowering meadows in Bolesławiec” and shared experience from other projects carried out in Poland.
The presentation was followed by a site visit and observation of the work carried out as part of Stage I of the contract, namely preparing the ground for establishing the meadows.
The meeting was attended by Polish and Czech project partners.
