The incident occurred on Saturday, November 19. Volunteer firefighters from Zbylutów (Lwówek County):
Today, we found ourselves faced with this situation in front of our fire station.
The firefighters added:
We appeal to you not to leave your cars in this way on our premises.
Unfortunately, in such a situation there is no possibility for us to leave for an incident that could happen to any one of us at any moment.
The men opened the security barrier at our entrance and decided to park their cars this way. The appropriate services were, of course, notified.
They also added:
We remind you that blocking access for emergency services such as OSP in this way may result in a fine and penalty points!
Once again, we ask you to use caution, because when the need arises, thoughtless drivers like these may prevent us from helping those who need assistance.
