As part of the SAR 112 Foundation’s operations, a water-and-diving rescue group works to provide assistance throughout the Republic of Poland and beyond its borders. The group is raising funds to purchase a new Kongsberg MS1000 sonar. The sonar used until now was destroyed during rescue and search operations on the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan

The sonar will allow the SAR 112 Foundation to continue underwater searches for missing people, as it has done until now. It was thanks to the sonar that Marcel Korkuś found the body of 3.5-year-old Kacperek from Nowogrodziec. Below is an interview in which the diver talks about the discovery.
