The incident occurred on Saturday, 5 November, in Legnica, in one of the apartments on Świętego Wojciecha Street. The police duty officer was informed that the body of a woman had been found in the aforementioned premises. The doctor who arrived at the scene was unable to determine the cause of death. (An autopsy is to clarify any doubts.)

It was established that two people had been crushed by a wardrobe: the deceased woman and a man. When the emergency services arrived, they were unable to establish contact with the latter; he did not even know what day of the week it was. The injured man was admitted to a psychiatric ward.

The prosecutor’s office and police are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy. Third-party involvement was initially ruled out.
