The Municipality of Bolesławiec, as part of its information and educational activities focused on caring for the planet, seeks to educate children to be responsible and aware of environmental protection.
Therefore, in October, as part of the educational campaign on the separate collection of municipal waste, “Our Children Sort Waste,” the city authorities provided Bolesławiec primary schools and preschools run by the Municipality of Bolesławiec with:
- 12 large-format “Sorting” games with dice and playing pieces,
- 75 games promoting the separate collection of waste, “Sorting Action” and “Ecomania,”
- 36 sets of bags for sorting waste.
City Hall: – The educational games are intended to introduce children to the basics of waste sorting, familiarize them with the concept of five waste fractions, and explain some exceptions that should be remembered when sorting waste.
It adds: – We hope that this will further raise our children’s awareness of caring for the environment and ecology.
