Border Guard:

A Border Guard officer can gain new skills and qualifications in various specializations. Border traffic control at airports, inspection and verification activities on transport routes, special operations conducted as combat activities, detecting crimes and apprehending their perpetrators – these are just some of our specializations. Our ranks include service dog handlers, specialists in detecting document forgery and forensic technicians. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to serve alongside officers of the services of neighboring countries, the Federal Police of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Police of the Czech Republic.

Service in the Border Guard is stable, interesting and rewarding. We serve in dynamic teams focused on carrying out tasks. You will have the opportunity for continuous professional development at Border Guard training centers, which, in addition to developing service-related competences, will expand your language skills. In the long term, we provide career development and the opportunity to choose specializations suited to you. You will have the opportunity to participate in foreign missions organized by the FRONTEX Agency (including in Greece, Bulgaria, Italy and Lithuania) and in other European countries, on the basis of separate bilateral agreements, such as North Macedonia or Slovenia.

Uniformed officers add:

Join us as soon as possible. All you need is Polish citizenship, at least secondary education and no criminal record. Don’t worry if you have no professional experience. Our training centers will prepare you thoroughly for your further service.

After completing the recruitment process, you will undergo several months of training at one of the three Border Guard training centers. There, we provide free meals, uniforms and accommodation. During the course, your salary will be PLN 3,500 if you are under 26, and more than PLN 3,300 if you are older. After completing the course and returning to your home unit, your earnings will rise to more than PLN 4,600 for those under 26 and more than PLN 4,300 for those over 26. Every Border Guard officer is entitled each year to a uniform allowance, the so-called uniform benefit, a 13th salary and holiday co-financing, and after 25 years of service, the right to a pension.
