On October 20, at Bolesławiec’s Rajców Hall, Mayor of Bolesławiec Piotr Roman announced the results of the 29th edition of the “Bolesławiec in Flowers” competition. The arrangements of flower-filled windows, balconies and gardens were assessed by a competition committee comprising:

  • Zdzisław Mirecki – vice-president of the Bolesławiec Enthusiasts’ Association;
  • Adam Biesiadecki – councillor of the Bolesławiec City Council, deputy chair of the Infrastructure, Spatial Planning and Construction Committee;
  • Anna Idkowiak – director of the Municipal Public Library – Knowledge Centre;
  • Małgorzata Rychert – inspector in the Public Procurement and Municipal Investments Department, Bolesławiec City Hall.

This year’s competition attracted 41 participants, including 10 allotment gardens.

Bolesławiec City Hall: “The organizers of the competition are the Mayor of Bolesławiec and the President of the Bolesławiec Enthusiasts’ Association. The prizes are vouchers for the Mrówka shop in Bolesławiec, with a total value of PLN 14,100 and valid until May 31, 2023, funded from the Bolesławiec municipal budget.
