It is not true that fuel is the most expensive in the region in Bolesławiec. Indeed, individual stations can be found where it is slightly cheaper, but it is easier to find ones where it is more expensive. This applies, among others, to stations by the A4 motorway, where fuel costs 20, and sometimes even 30 groszy more per litre than fuel sold in Bolesławiec.
And what are the average retail fuel prices in Poland?
Information on prices is published by the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels. According to the service, the average retail prices at stations in Poland (data from 21 October) are:
- ON – PLN 8.07
- Pb95 – PLN 6.91
- LPG – PLN 3.06
Comparing the prices at the PKN Orlen fuel station on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec* with the national average prices, we can see a difference in the price of LPG (in Bolesławiec it is 11 groszy higher than the average). The price of regular diesel is the same as the national average price for this fuel. 95-octane petrol is 2 groszy cheaper than the national average price.
