The bodies of dogs that were probably hit by drivers are lying near the Solidarności roundabout in Kruszyn.
This is, of course, not the first such incident. And dogs are not always the victims.
In the summer, we reported that a reader The Bad Bunzlauerdescribed an incident that took place on Thursday, June 2:
(…) I would like to raise a certain issue—namely, people's indifference toward wild animals. This morning I was driving to work toward Lwówek. A short distance past the military shooting range, there was a fawn that had been hit; naturally, the person who hit it was nowhere to be seen. Not a single car stopped to help the poor animal. I called the emergency number, and the services supposedly intended to help it. I put my reflective fleece jacket on it so that it would be visible, because it was lying on a bend.
And he added:
Please address this issue, because it could just as well have been a person, and I wonder whether people would have behaved the same way then?
We have reported, among other things, HERE.
