The incident occurred on Monday, October 17, before 3:00 p.m., in the village of Zebrzydowa. The driver of a Volvo, a 65-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, hit a 78-year-old cyclist.
She was taken to hospital. Fortunately, it turned out that she had not suffered anything more serious. (The woman was released to go home).
The Volvo driver was fined PLN 1,500. Police officers appeal for caution and common sense on the road.
