Last weekend, the Polish Combined Events Championships were held in Opole. Alumni and athletes of MKS Bolesłavia performed very well in the competition. The best of them was decathlete Jacek Nabożny, who won the Polish senior title, despite being a junior athlete. Jacek currently competes for AZS AWF Wrocław and trains under Dariusz Łoś.
Former Bolesłavia athlete Karolina Kędzia (currently representing AZS AWF Wrocław) won the silver medal in the women’s heptathlon in Opole. She lost only to Izabela Mikołajczyk of WLKS Wrocław. Meanwhile, decathlete Marcin Zgodziński of Bolesłavia finished in a high fifth place.
