Despite the rain, the most loyal fans of Bolesławiec’s table tennis players came to the sports hall on Komuny Paryskiej Street. The match began with Tomasz Racławski facing Witold Skubiszewski. From the very beginning, the Bolesławiec player seemed extremely tense. He was also dogged by bad luck. Several of his attacks grazed the net and then went beyond the table. Racławski lost to Skubiszewski 0–3 (6:11, 7:11, 9:11).

The next Bolesławiec player, Paweł Chudoba, put in an even weaker performance. Playing against Krzysztof Kaczmarek, he was several times unable to return the heavily spun serve effectively. In addition, he sometimes made contact incorrectly while attacking. Chudoba lost to Kaczmarek 0–3 (5:11, 6:11, 4:11).

The fans’ hopes were revived by the third Bolesławiec player, Piotr Chodoba. His opponent was Karol Achwimieni. The TOP player defeated the visiting representative 3–1 (11:9, 6:11, 11:3, 11:6). Unfortunately, the next games, both the doubles match and the final singles match, ended in defeats for our players. TOP lost both final games 1–3, while the entire match ended 1–4.
