Coach Tomasz Tomczyk:
This time, we travelled to the Czech Republic for a boxing match, more precisely to Jablonec nad Nisou.
The tournament featured the following Czech teams: Malec Liberec, SKMP Duchcov, SK Česká Kamenice, boxers from Ústí nad Labem and BFC Liberec. The City of Ceramics was represented, of course, by boxers from TOP Boks Bolesławiec: Piotr Motyka (64 kg), Mateusz Urban (60 kg), Tomasz Kryś (81 kg).
T. Tomczyk:
This was our first team trip to a foreign ring. We wanted to experience the boxing atmosphere there and gain further experience.
In his 32nd bout, Piotr Motyka defeated a boxer from Liberec 3:0. Mateusz Urban also defeated his opponent from the same Czech club 3:0. Only Tomasz Kryś had to acknowledge the superiority of his Czech opponent.
The coach: “The TOP team is already preparing for the International Boxing Tournament, which will take place in Karpacz on 13–14 April.”
