A session of the Bolesławiec City Council is under way. Before the proceedings began, President Piotr Roman spoke. The mayor informed the councillors that he had received a motion from councillors of the Bezpartyjni i Ziemia Bolesławiecka club to remove from the agenda a resolution under which the Paid Parking Zone was to be extended to Ślusarska Street.

As the president explained, the municipal office first received a request from 18 residents who wanted the Paid Parking Zone to be extended to the aforementioned street. A counter-motion was then submitted, this time signed by around 40 residents of Ślusarska Street. Councillors from the Bezpartyjni i Ziemia Bolesławiecka club also requested that the proposal be removed, arguing that “in-depth consultations” should be held on the matter.

President Piotr Roman therefore submitted a motion to remove the draft resolution from the agenda. He added that “only a cow never changes its mind.”
