The “Safe Weekend” operation will last five days (2–6 June). Drivers travelling on the roads of the city and Bolesławiec County during these days should expect sobriety and speed checks. Police are appealing to drivers to exercise caution. Driving even after the so-called “symbolic shot” can end in tragedy. Driving a car the next day after a heavily alcohol-fuelled party is also dangerous. Police also advise on how to secure your home while away.
