The woman who called the newsroom late on Wednesday evening, September 14, was upset because she had been without water all day. As she claimed, contact with the Water Supply, Sewage and Wastewater Treatment Plant in Gromadka (ZWKiO) was, to put it mildly, unsatisfactory.
– It’s after 8:00 p.m., and we haven’t had water since morning—there’s no way to wash or cook anything, and there’s no way to get a child properly ready for school – the resident of Różyniec complained. – When I call them, they tell me that the water should already be back, that they have fixed the problem, and that if there is no water, it may be because we live up on a hill and it hasn’t reached us yet. What is this supposed to be?!! Breakdowns should be fixed as quickly as possible, not leave us without water all day. This keeps happening. These breakdowns and interruptions in the water supply – the upset woman said.
We sent an inquiry to ZWKiO in Gromadka asking why the residents of Różyniec had been without water all day, what caused the breakdowns, and whether their source would soon be eliminated. But, just like the reader, we also received an evasive response.
The manager of ZWKiO in Gromadka, Edyta Mioduszewska-Kidoń referred us to a website notice about the breakdown and did not take the trouble to explain anything.
On September 14, 2022 (Wednesday), from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., work will be carried out on the water supply network in Krzyżowa. As a result, interruptions in the water supply may occur. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the use of the water supply network.

Update: September 16, 2022, 3:20 p.m.
In response to our repeated question about the duration of the breakdown, we received the following explanation:
The lack of water from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (?) was caused by the work on the network taking longer, until 5:30 p.m., followed by the water tanks at the Water Treatment Plant and the pipelines in three localities being refilled.
