At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, the court ordered the temporary detention of three young residents of the Nowogrodziec municipality. The suspects were charged with setting fire on 26 May to the production hall of Odal Sp. z. o.o. in Zebrzydowa. The hall contained equipment, machinery and finished products belonging to PPHU „Poliester”, with a total value of more than PLN 855,000. The fire destroyed property worth approximately PLN 400,000.
The men were remanded in custody for three months. The suspects face a prison sentence of between one and 10 years.
