On Saturday, May 29, a fitness competition was held in the sports hall at I LO. The first part of the competition was the Aerobics Marathon. Fifty-two female competitors from Bolesławiec, Kruszyn, Warta Bolesławiecka and Zagrodno took part in the marathon. All the competitors completed the two-hour marathon, led by instructor Jolanta Anasiewicz. The fit women received certificates and material gifts.
The International Bench Press Competition was held after the aerobics event. Fifty competitors signed up for the bench press competition, including five women. Jarosław Fink took on the role of commentator and host. In the Women's Open category, the winner was Katarzyna Płócienniczak from Żagań, with a final result of 92.5 kg. In the Disabled Open category, first place went to Marcin Biernacki from Żagań, with a final result of 75 kg.
Winners in the age categories:
- Damian Świtaniak from Cezar club – Junior category, up to 20 years old – final result: 145 kg
- Dawid Kalarus from Struga – Senior category, 21 to 40 years old – final result: 205 kg
- Jan Graczyk from Berlin – Veteran category, 41 years and over – final result: 175 kg
Winners in the weight categories:
- Patryk Linkiewicz from Bystrzyca – 60 kg category – final result: 82.5 kg
- Rafał Tarczewski from Bystrzyca – 67.5 kg category – final result: 120 kg
- Łukasz Wółkiewicz from Świebodzice – 75 kg category – final result: 170 kg
- Mateusz Żyła from Bystrzyca – 82.5 kg category – final result: 185 kg
- Dawid Kalarus from Struga – 90 kg category – final result: 205 kg
- Andrzej Kocyła from Złotoryja – 100 kg category – final result: 212.5 kg
- Patryk Kozieł from Bystrzyca – 110 kg category – final result: 197.5 kg
- Henryk Romanek from Struga – +125 kg category – final result: 200 kg
Competitions for competitors and the audience were also held during the event. Twenty competitors took part in the 100 kg barbell press. Dawid Kalarus won with 44 repetitions. The audience competed in pressing a 60 kg barbell. Andrzej Litwin from Pieńsk lifted it the most times. Edmund Lechowicz won the one-arm lift of a 27.5 kg dumbbell.
A total of 73 people took part in the audience competitions. The winners received material prizes. Saturday's competition was organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec, TKKF Bolesławianka, Fitness Club Cezar and the “Inspiracja” Physical Recreation Studio.
